Do something for the first time!

​Hot-air ballooning at Kloofzicht, a 40-minute drive from Johannesburg, is one of the best ways to see the beautiful African sunrise.

Setting up at 5:00 in the morning means we had to wake up and be ready by 4:00 am.

We hovered over the Cradle of Humankind reserve, home to 4 of the "Big 5" and enjoyed the South African landscape. We saw baby rhinos, wildebeests, zebras and antelopes.

​Would I  go hot air ballooning again?  Definitely! I would like to experience it in Cappadocia, Turkey for a different atmosphere.
